After a career as a professional dancer and then time spent teaching, I have always been involved in making and designing costumes and Tutu's for dancers of all abilities, from complete novices to budding professional ballerinas.
Over the years, I have had to design and make ballet Tutu's and costumes, as we toured all the local festivals throughout the North West of England. I was frequently asked "Where do you get your costumes from?" This was how I previously got all my work.
I have made costumes for all the types of Festival work, (Which I love to watch, whenever possible)
I also make costumes for Ballet school reviews, local Drama productions, Murder mystery weekends and even Prom dresses etc.
I have also costumed many full productions, When looking through my collection, I have tried to group costumes together.
If you need any help or advice not just about costumes, but any area of dance or festival work, I'm always happy to talk. As you can imagine, my life has always been about ballet and dance, so to meet new dancers and help them progress is a wonderful feeling for me.
This is just a small collection of my tutu's and work, as I only have old photographs of most of my costumes.
As I get more digital images they will be posted onto my website.
If you are already one of my wonderful clients and have photographs of a costume and wouldn't mind if I placed the photograph on my website, please could you e-mail them to me.
If you would also like to link your costume to a video of your dance please e-mail me a video file to place on my website to: su@delaneycostumes.co.uk or post me a copy of your DVD (I will return them)
